New Arrival Norsewind

Forge your Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and stand ready for the coming Viking invasion.

Norsewind transports you to the year 793, as flames rise along the Northumbrian coast. The raid on Lindisfarne was only the beginning – more Viking longships are on the horizon. As rulers of Wessex, Mercia, Northumbria, and East Anglia, players must strengthen their kingdoms for the storm to come. Expand your lands with thriving cities and reinforce your defenses – but beware: the greater your prosperity, the more you draw the attention of relentless raiders. Will your realm stand firm against fire and steel, or crumble beneath the onslaught? The fate of Anglo-Saxon England lies in your hands.

In this engaging tableau-building game, each turn you select a card to grow your kingdom, carefully adding it to your tableau to maximize rewards. Recruit loyal followers, strengthen mighty castles, and plan your layout wisely to prepare for the inevitable Viking assault. At the game’s end, each row of your tableau scores- provided your defenses are strong enough to withstand the power of the invading forces. Strategy, foresight, and resilience will determine who emerges as the dominant ruler of the age.
